Set 1 – Cool to Hot
Das erste Set führt das Publikum durch die stilistische Entwicklung des Jazz – von kühler Raffinesse à la Westcoast bis zu energetischem Hard-Bop. Die Musiker präsentieren Klassiker und selten gehörte Werke des Jazzrepertoires mit geschmackvollen Arrangements und Raum für improvisatorische Höhenflüge. Ein musikalischer Spannungsbogen, der von cool beginnt und ins glühende Spielfreude mündet – immer mit klarem Sound, viel Verve und pulsierender Dynamik.
Set 2 – Swing into the Night
Im zweiten Set wird die Nacht zum Resonanzraum des Jazz. Mit einem Repertoire aus Kompositionen von u. a. Duke Ellington, Horace Silver und Kurt Weill entfaltet das Quintett seine ganze Bandbreite: lyrische Balladen, stilvolle Grooves und expressive Soli verschmelzen zu einem zeitlos eleganten Konzerterlebnis: »Swing into the Night« – lässig, feinsinnig und voller musikalischer Energie.
